Pixels of the Past is an open-source, non-commercial project celebrating Australian-made video games. The project enables players to "jump" through reimagined levels, collect fun facts, and discover the legacy of classic Aussie games in this playful tribute to Australia’s gaming history!
The Crossy Road Edition lets players explore a platforming level inspired by the original Crossy Road (2014), collecting facts about the game along the way.

CROSSY ROAD Original (2014)
Crossy Road is a simple and fun game where you help a character cross roads, rivers, and train tracks without getting hit. The goal is to go as far as you can.
It was created by three Australians: Andy Sum, Matt Hall, and Ben Weatherall from a small game studio called Hipster Whale. The game was released in 2014 and became very popular.
